"White VIP Lounge Exhibition"

The exhibition brought together four leading figures of Korean contemporary art: Lee Bae, internationally recognized for his distinctive use of charcoal; Lee Ufan, one of Korea’s most influential contemporary artists, whose practice explores relationships between material, space, and perception; Lee Kun-Yong, a first-generation avant-garde artist and pioneer of Korean performance art; and Lee Se-Hyun, widely recognized for his striking red landscapes imbued with memory and an Eastern sensibility. Their works enriched the atmosphere of the Galleria Department Store Centercity VIP Lounge, transforming it into a more refined and distinctive space for contemporary art.

"Blue VIP Lounge Exhibition"

Lee Hee-Don transforms dak, the paper-mulberry fibre traditionally used to make Korean hanji, into richly textured surfaces shaped through layering, perforation, and repetition. Drawing on the concept of In-yeon — the connections and encounters that bind people and things together — his work combines material tradition with a distinctly contemporary visual language. Presented in the Blue VIP Lounge, the works introduced a quiet yet tactile presence to the space, inviting viewers to experience the accumulation of material, colour, and time.
